MEET A MEMBER: HOW STEPHANIE WENT FROM HOUSE HACKING TO A THRIVING PROPERTY MANAGEMENT TEAM
How did you get started in the property management space and what are some of the lessons you’ve learned? Alexandra (AAOA): In 2006, my husband and I were self- employed and looking for something new when an acquaintance offered to sell us his duplex. At that time, we were selling our home, so the timing was right. We moved into one side of the duplex and rented out the other. The rent we were getting covered the bills, so we thought, “there’s something there.” Stephanie Bishoff:

a job right after college selling advertising, which is how she met Chad. They married and now have two beautiful children. When at the office, she focuses on the marketing aspects of it. Outside of the office, she uses her realtor license to manage rental properties. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and sweet dogs, traveling, movies and reading.
