3. Bite the Bullet on Internet Listing Services

Often, internet listing services (ILS) such as Apartments.com will rank in one of the top slots when a renter searches for a new place to live. Even if you have a great Google Business Pro le AND are engaging in AdWords, you should bite the bullet on paying for your property to be listed on some of the top listing sites — Apartments.com, ForRent, Trulia, and Zillow. You don’t necessarily have to use them all, but I de nitely recommend doing a few.

Internet listing services will offer you a wider reach and higher exposure for your properties. The National Apartment Association found that 85% of renters use online listings to search for apartments. These services also offer tools and features that make it easy for you to manage your listings, such as 24/7 access to update listings and the ability to track leads. Knowing how a lead engages with you after viewing your listing on an ILS can be very helpful for your marketing efforts.
