Rod Stewart In the early 1990s, singer Sir Rod Stewart commissioned architect Richard Landry to design a 28,500-square-foot European Chateau and a 4500-square-foot guest house to be built on 3.26 acres in guard-gated Beverly Park high above Beverly Hills. Now on the market for $70 million, the huge residence includes a total of 13 bedrooms, 19 bathrooms, multiple living rooms, a formal dining room that seats 20, a library, screening room and even a speakeasy bar. The great room boasts another bar and a platform topped by a piano. Outdoor amenities offered are a large swimming pool, a soccer field, a full kitchen and a fireplace.

Trisha Yearwood

After 23 years, Trisha Yearwood has placed her historic 5-bedroom, 7-bath estate on the market for $4.5 million. Set on a 4.42-acre parklike parcel in exclusive Brentwood, Tennessee, the 6553-square-foot home has been extensively remodeled to include the updated gourmet kitchen where the singer filmed 11 seasons of her popular Food Network cooking show, “Trisha’s Southern Kitchen.” The two-story home comes outfitted with an elevator, a mix of brick and hardwood floors and a nine-camera surveillance system. It is enhanced by two sunrooms, three Southern outdoor porches, a swimming pool and a pool house.

Billy Joel

Currently undergoing renovation, Billy Joel’s waterfront estate on Long Island’s Centre Island is for sale for $49 million. Built in 1914, the property covers 26 acres with a total of 20,000 square feet of living space made up of a main house with five bedrooms, six bathrooms plus two powder rooms, a two-lane bowling alley, spa, hair salon, wine cellar and six fireplaces. Also included are a three-bedroom beach house, a three- bedroom guest apartment and a four-bedroom guesthouse. Indoor and outdoor pools, a floating dock, a boat ramp and a private helicopter pad on the shore are among the home’s amenities.
